Explore two days with family, fun and food. This Sahakaranagar event has been attracting thousands of residents in North Bangalore.
Sahakaranagar Residents Welfare Association is organising a two-day laughter festival on January 12 & 13 that promises to be a fun outing for families.
Sahakaranagar Suggi Habba, Nage habba, Madhura Sanje and a Tindi Mela are its highlights.
The Madhura Sanje on Saturday starts at 12 noon and goes on upto 9 p.m.
To make the community event more interesting, a Rangoli Competition, Breaking the Pot, songs by “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’’ Singers, Divine Music Team. The other events are a dance by Ashok Polali, Folk Dance by Kallasa Kaladhara team, A traditional Fashion Show by Samudrikas, Bharathanatyam and other Programmes to keep everyone engaged.
Nage habba is being held on Sunday 13th January from 2 p.m onwards and will go on till 9 p.m
In between, some of the events planned are Skits by Mimicry Gopi & team and another skit by MOORU MUTHUGALU performed by a team from Kundapura.
For children, there is entertainment in the form of Talking Doll by Indushree and Standup Comedy by B. Pranesh, Basavaraj Mahamani & Narasimha Joshi.
